250 mg Proferrin® Lactoferrin

Lactoferrin is an iron-binding protein found naturally in human and cow milk. From research, there is a lot of interest in the effects of this protein. Unless you drink fresh, unheated milk, you will ingest little active lactoferrin. This is because heating via pasteurisation or sterilisation deactivates lactoferrin. Therefore, it is very important that you take lactoferrin in its natural (undenatured) form.

Leapfrog Remedies IMMUNE contains 250 mg of lactoferrin from Proferrin® per tablet. Proferrin is 96% pure lactoferrin in its natural form. Proferrin lactoferrin comes from the milk of French cows raised on in small scale farms. These cows graze and eat as much grass as possible and are not treated with hormones and antibiotics.

The lactoferrin remains intact through gentle isolation at low temperatures. As a result, the lactoferrin is maximally bioavailable and effective.
